The Tactical Air-Purifying Respirator (TAPR®) is a universal-fit half-face respirator mask designed to provide adaptable protection for various tactical operations. Below, you will find a detailed breakdown of the sizing and fitting process to ensure optimal performance.

Initial Fitting:

1. Place the TAPR® on your face and pull the harness over your head.
2. Adjust straps for a snug yet comfortable fit.
3. Ensure the facepiece seals properly against your skin.

Seal Check

1. Cover the filter port with your palm and inhale gently.
2. A proper fit causes the mask to collapse slightly without air leaks.
3. If leaks occur, readjust the straps and retest.
4. Ensure no excessive pressure points.
5. Adjust the harness for even weight distribution and stability.

Warranty:

The Tactical Air-Purifying Respirator (TAPR®) comes with MIRA Safety’s 1-year manufacturer warranty. This warranty covers any defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.

Key Warranty Conditions:

• The warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
• Coverage includes manufacturing defects but does not cover damage due to misuse, improper storage, modifications, or exposure to extreme conditions.
• Customers must retain proof of purchase to claim warranty services.
• Warranty claims should be processed through MIRA Safety’s customer support, and the company reserves the right to repair, replace, or refund the product at its discretion.
• Filters and consumable items are not covered under this warranty, as their lifespan depends on environmental exposure and usage.

Shelf Life:

The TAPR respirator mask itself, made from high-quality sanitary silicone rubber, does not have a strict expiration date but requires proper storage to maintain its integrity.

Storage Guidelines: 

To maintain the longevity and effectiveness of the TAPR respirator It must be stored in a dark, cool, and dust-free location with regular ventilation. Ensure storage:

• Temperature: 5°C to 25°C
• Relative Humidity: Up to 65%
• Avoid exposure to radiant heat or direct sunlight.
• Keep away from fuels, solvents, lubricants, and chemicals.
• Avoid electrical machines or appliances that produce sparks (ozone risk).
• Prevent deformation of rubber parts during storage.
